As noted above, we offer our 4-Point inspection which inspects on the roofing, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system.
We also offer wind mitigation (windstorm) reports which looks for construction features that have been shown to reduce losses in hurricanes, such as a hip roof (sloped on all sides like a pyramid); roof to wall connections that are installed with hurricane clips/straps such as toenail, clips, single wraps or double wraps. This inspection may give you discounts on your insurance premium. Having a roof that meets wind codes on your house would qualify it for the wind mitigation discount and possibly other insurance benefits. You will need to contact your insurance company to determine what these savings are.
